Moni's BOLD & BEAUTIFUL

I am featuring here the metalwork of Moni's BOLD & BEAUTIFUL Krupp Ring. Moni wanted a unique basket gallery of little bezel round baubles set in the formation of V and inverted V. We also borrowed the 'tube RBs' band of LA ENCHANTADORA and expanded it to a half eternity band ... so here we have it ! ... BOLD & BEAUTIFUL metalwork in 18k Yellow Gold to complement the Krupp Stone of lightest yellow color.

Here are some pictures of the Krupp Stone (inspired by Ms. Liz Taylor's Krupp Diamond) which is the Asscher cut to a rectangular dimension . Moni's stone was taken under incandescent light and is actually much ligher than what you see here. As mentioned above, this will be a yellow gold ring and will indeed be BOLD & BEAUTIFUL ! :)

Can't wait,
liz :)

5-Stone Asscher Ring Band

I want to share this project I am doing for Andrea who first contacted me a month ago abt IT'S SO LIZ!. Andrea decides though that before starting on the ISL, that she would like to have a 5-stone ring band with little Asschers done first. Here are the little ones..

In spite being just 4mm, these little Asschers are impressively sparkly and is a welcome change from the usual rounds or princesses.

And now for the nice substantial metalwork .. in 18k White Gold :)

Can't wait to take pictures of this beauty! Will be back with pictures of the completed band. Please come back :) Thank you Andrea!

Celebrating the Lunar New Year with lots of Fanfare!

I know i have be really tardy with my writing simply because i have been really busy with the year-end holidays and working on a new project. Hopefully this new project works out but more of that later.

Well yesterday was the start of the Lunar New Year celebration here in Singapore. To usher in the Year of the Ox, there was a Lion Dance to wish all residents of our estate lots of good health and prosperity. I took the opportunity to video tape it which i have to apologise for my poor video skill.. should have turned up the resolution .. but I promise I will get the hang of it with practice :)

It was so nice to see these two playful Lions working hard to welcome the new year with wishes (see banner) ..
"Welcome Spring And Good Fortune" and "May All Your Desires Come True"
..in spite of the gloom and doom forecast. It's for me really strange to see the ox dancing on its forelegs as if he is doing his hand-stand all the way ... LOL. To look on the 'bright' side, it brought some light moments to the morning :) .. really funny, don't you think?

As usual I could not resist taking more pictures ..

Stunning lift!

Touch me and you will receive lots of luck!!

If you think that was it.. no.. no.. we were also treated to a Dragon Dance!

Nice formation..

Till next Spring .. adios

I hope you enjoyed this blog as much as I enjoyed writing it.

May the New Year brings you lots of love, happiness and good health!
