Kate Middleton's E-Ring

Please Meet ANDI

This is ANDI .. an east/west set 11x5.5mm (~1.25ct diamond equivalent), H color, SparklingLizzie MARQUISE, chevron-tip set in ARGENTIUM SILVER. The band is pave set with blue sapphires with four bezel-set rubies at the cathedral band. The sides the band is beautifully hand-engraved with scroll-artwork.

ANDI is just beautiful !

A Pair of Blue Sapphire Pears ~

I know I have been very tardy in my posting but it is because I have been rather busy. Recently I got a pair lovely blue sapphire Pears, totalling 1.15tcw, great to be set as accent stones

Fleur de Lis LACE - She's Got it!

Rebecca finally got her Fleur de Lis LACE and with here's what she wrote me . . not one but two separate occasions .. :)

"Dear Liz....

Well, you did not disappoint! The matching band to FLEUR is perfect! I love it! The milgraining is wonderful, and the scale is perfect! ....... I did not wear Fleur until the band was completed as I wanted to wear them as a set, and they are stunning together. The low profile of Lace really shows the Fleur de Lis of the ering. I am very glad you offer the higher value diamonds as they do make a difference with colors ...... The band and Fleur is everything I could hope it could be.

I can honestly say, this finally, is what I wished to wear for my wedding set. Thank you thank you thank you."


"Wore the rings today on errands, and the same response. A store owner who knows my jewelry flipped when she saw the set! She asked who did it? I told her that I have a friend who is a jeweler in Singapore, and she said, no wonder the sapphires are so incredible! "


I am truly grateful for these photos Rebecca has taken. As you may already know, the FLEUR DE LIS ring was sent to her early after which she placed the order for the FLEUR LACE so I never got the chance to shoot both of the ring together but here they are .. courtesy of R! .. THANK YOU!

Remember FLEUR d'ORLEANS ? This is her ..

.. matching band !!! .. Fleur d'Orleans LACE. The ratio of 4 blue sapphires to 1 diamond was all Rebecca's idea and it turned out so beautifully .. What a stunning piece ! I love it and so does Rebecca. R is now thinking of a matching band for FdO Lace; one with 4 diamonds to 1 blue sapphire !! Stunning MAISIE ! .. HANDMADE Bezelled set H&A Octagon with natural blue sapphires, channelled set and pretty engraving with open scrolls...that how to describe her... but we all know pictures speak a thousand words and i have taken lots! Enjoy ..

Presenting . . . FLEUR d'ORLEANS

Two weeks ago I blogged on "ONE VERY SPECIAL PROJECT COMIN' UP!" .. This project is inspired by the FLEUR de LYS. R tells me it holds very special meaning for her.. it had been a time and a place somewhere in New Orleans .. it must be very special .. she remembers the Fleur de Lys on the wrought iron gate ..

Her Stats ..

18K solid White Gold
11x9mm H color Asscher (KRUPP-inspired cut), 4-split prong
Fleur de lys motif, milgrained, on N/S side of basket, with diamond rb on each center of the FDL
graduating ~1.25tcw blue natural sapphires , bezel set half eternity band
~2.75mm rounded band

The SPARKLINGLIZZIE rectangular Asscher, inspired by the KRUPP cut is just amazing .. this is really a case of where 'Lush and Blush do not mix' !
