Fleur de Lis LACE - She's Got it!

Rebecca finally got her Fleur de Lis LACE and with here's what she wrote me . . not one but two separate occasions .. :)

"Dear Liz....
Well, you did not disappoint! The matching band to FLEUR is perfect! I love it! The milgraining is wonderful, and the scale is perfect! ....... I did not wear Fleur until the band was completed as I wanted to wear them as a set, and they are stunning together. The low profile of Lace really shows the Fleur de Lis of the ering. I am very glad you offer the higher value diamonds as they do make a difference with colors ...... The band and Fleur is everything I could hope it could be.
I can honestly say, this finally, is what I wished to wear for my wedding set. Thank you thank you thank you."

"Wore the rings today on errands, and the same response. A store owner who knows my jewelry flipped when she saw the set! She asked who did it? I told her that I have a friend who is a jeweler in Singapore, and she said, no wonder the sapphires are so incredible! "

I am truly grateful for these photos Rebecca has taken. As you may already know, the FLEUR DE LIS ring was sent to her early after which she placed the order for the FLEUR LACE so I never got the chance to shoot both of the ring together but here they are .. courtesy of R! .. THANK YOU!

So nice !

This is my favorite .. so dreamy and magical .. Well done R !

Another LizC piece is in the pipele with this set .. so stay tuned!

ONE VERY SPECIAL PROJECT COMIN' UP !

I am so happy to be working on this project .. it will indeed be a very special one. R had worked with me before on many, many pieces and now she has commissioned to do up an antique e-ring with a 'french' touch :) She tells me the 'french' touch holds a lot of meaning for her. There will be lots of milgrain, with blue sapphires side and of course diamond melees and a BIG Krupp-inspired Asscher cut of a ~6 carat size! I have taken some pictures of the stones and perhaps you can have a some ideas on the project. I am hoping to get the metalwork soon and already R has been lining up some other exciting new projects in the pipeline... Yay!

Moni's BOLD & BEAUTIFUL

I am featuring here the metalwork of Moni's BOLD & BEAUTIFUL Krupp Ring. Moni wanted a unique basket gallery of little bezel round baubles set in the formation of V and inverted V. We also borrowed the 'tube RBs' band of LA ENCHANTADORA and expanded it to a half eternity band ... so here we have it ! ... BOLD & BEAUTIFUL metalwork in 18k Yellow Gold to complement the Krupp Stone of lightest yellow color.

Here are some pictures of the Krupp Stone (inspired by Ms. Liz Taylor's Krupp Diamond) which is the Asscher cut to a rectangular dimension . Moni's stone was taken under incandescent light and is actually much ligher than what you see here. As mentioned above, this will be a yellow gold ring and will indeed be BOLD & BEAUTIFUL ! :)

Can't wait,
liz :)
